Abstract
Apical bud of seedless watermelon was made as the explants,in vitro cultured in MS-based medium supplemented with various hormone.The results showed that different types,different concentration of the hormone had different effect on bud in- duction and differentiation,proliferation and root growth.The appropriate medium for seedless watermelon tissue culture was MS+6- BA2.0 mg/L+NAA0.05 mg/L+30 g/L sucrose+4 g/L agar.The appropriate medium for the proliferation was MS+6-BA 0.25 mg/L+ NAA 0.01 mg/L.The suitable rooting medium was 1/2MS+IBA 0.5 mg/L.
