Abstract

The stems of test-tube seedlings of aspermous watermelon were cultured to study the rapid reproductive technique of aspermous watermelon. The results showed that the optimum medium for inducing calli, differentiation adventitious buds and roots was MS +6-BA 2.0 mg/L + NAA 0.1 mg/L,MS +6-BA 2.0 mg/L+ NAA 0.5 mg/L and 1/2 MS+IAA 0.2mg/L respectively. The technique can be used in rapid production of aspermous watermelon.
