Relationship between depression and social support of college students

Objective To investigate the status of mental health and social support of students in medical universities;to explore the relationships between mental heath and social support;to provide information and references for the mental health education.Methods 725 college students were tested with Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) and S CES-D.Result Conclusion The senior students,students with single-parent,only-child students,the college students in county are in worse depression status,the college students with both-parents have higher social support than others,and the social support is negative related with depression status of students in the university.
