The Clinical Observation by Insulin Pump Treatment in Type II Diabetes

In order to compare the short-term differences in efficacy of insulin pump therapy with multiple insulin therapy in type Ⅱ diabetic patients,60 cases of hospitalized patients with type Ⅱ diabetes were randomized to the use of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion pump insulin(CSII) or multiple subcutaneous infusion of insulin(MSⅡ) treatment.The glycemic target control time,total daily insulin requirement,and accident of hypoglycemia in CSII and MSII groups were compared respectively.When compared with MSII group,a shorter glycemic control time,a less amount of total daily insulin requirement and a fewer hypoclycemia accidence were found in CSII group.Insulin pump treatment is safe and effective for controlling blood glucose in patients with type Ⅱ diabetes.
