Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of Tianchan capsule in animals. Methods:The analgesic effect of Tianchan capsule was studied in mice and rats using HAC writhing reaction, hot plate test, tail flick test and pain threshold measurement of trifacial neuralgia. Results:The mice response to HAC writhing reaction and hot plate test as well as the rats response to tail flick test and pain threshold measurement were significantly inhibited by Tianchan capsule.Time of onset of action was about 30 minutes after dosing, and its peak value was reached around 120 minutes. The analgesic effect of Tianchan capsule was increased with increase of dose. Conclusion:Tianchan capsule has significant analgesic effect in mice and rats.
