Diagnostic Significance of Survivin Associated with p53 in Ovarian Epithelial Carcinoma

Objective To study the expression in ovarian epithelial benign tumor and ovarian epithelial carcinoma,and relationship and the diagnostic significance of Survivin and p53 expression in Ovarian Epithelial Carcinoma.Methods To examine the expression of Survivin and p53 protein in 57 ovarian epithelial cancer and 19 benign tumors using immunohitochemical method.Results The expression of Survivin in ovarian epithelial benign tumor is 0 and the expressive ratio in the cancer is 42.1%.The expressive rate of p53 in ovarian epithelial benign tumor and ovarian epithelial cancer is 26.3% and 56.1%.There was no relationship between Survivin gene expression and FIGO stage,pathological grade(P0.05).There is relationship between benign and cancer.The expression of p53 has relationship between FIGO stage,benign and cancer.There are intimate relationship between Survivin gene expression and p53 (P0.01).Conclusion Survivin gene expressions were different between ovarian epithelial benign tumor and ovarian epithelial carcinoma.There was no relationship between Survivin gene expression and FIGO stage,pathological grade.The expression of p53 has relationship between FIGO stage,benign and cancer.There was significant relationship between Survivin gene expression and p53.
