Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy on Soothing Liver and Strengthening Spleen Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia. Methods: 156 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The 78 patients of the treatment group received Soothing Liver and Strengthening Spleen Decoction while the 78 patients of the control group received Ranitidine and Domperidone. The courses of treatment for two groups were 4 weeks. Results: For the treatment group, the cure rate was 29.5% and the total effective rate was 91.0%.For the control group, the cure rate was 15.4% and the total effective rate was 75.6%.There were significant differences of the cure rate and the total effective rate between the two groups(all P0.01).The points of clinical symptoms were significantly improved in the treatment group after treatment compared with before treatment(all P0.05).The points of abdominal distension, heartburn, nausea in the treatment group compared the control group, there were significant differences(all P0.05).Conclusion: Soothing Liver and Strengthening Spleen Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia has better clinical effects and fewer side effects.
