Clinical research on the therapeutic effect of Weikangping decoction on 40 cases of functional dyspepsia

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Wei kangping decoction on Functional Dyspepsia(FD) of liver depression and spleen a sthenia.Methods 80 FD patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.40 cases in treatment group were given one dose of 150 mL each time,twice a day,30 minutes before breakfast and supper;other 40 cases in control group,were given Domperidone 10 mg each time,3 times a day.The treatment course for both groups was 2 weeks.Results The total effective rate was 90% in treatment group,which is 65% in control group,there was a significant difference between two groups(P0.01);After the treatment,serum NO content was obviously lower in treatment group(P0.05);blood plasma AchE and MTL content obviously ascended in treatment group after the treatment(P0.0 5).Conclusion Weikangping decoction has precise therapeutic effect on Functional Dyspepsia of liver depression and spleen asthenia.The me chanism may be concerned with lowering serum NO content,ascending blood plasma AchE and MTL content and promoting gastric emptying.
