Research on Local University Library Serving the Construction of Rural Economy

The paper introduced the type of information demanded by rural economic construction,the information acquisition of farmers and the information provided by government and society to farmers in the underdeveloped areas,and then proposed several measures to serve rural economic construction,such as providing services to rural agricultural-related enterprises,carrying out rural information services according to the research achievements of local universities,and training the farmers to improve their information quality.It was pointed out that to institutionalize information service,form information connection and strengthen the construction of characteristic resources are the main problems to be settled in the process of university library serving the rural economy.
