Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical character of senile cerebral infarction. Methods 300 old patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected as observation group. and at the same time 200 cases (age60 years) with acute infarction were selected as control groups. The blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipid were detected in two groups; the neurologic impairment score was detected; and the treatment on acute cerebral infarction was done. Results ①the incidence rate of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia in observation group compared with those in control group respectively, there was statistical difference (P0.05). ②the type of cerebral infarction in observation group compared with those in control group respectively, there was no statistical difference (P0.05). ③the incidence rate of mild and severe condition in observation group compared with those in control group respectively, there was statistical difference (P0.05). ④ the total effective rate of observation group compared with that in control group, there was no statistical difference (P0.05); The cure rate of observation group compared with that in control group, there was statistical difference (P0.05). Conclusions The occurrence of senile cerebral infarction relates with hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia; the condition is more sever and the cure rate is lower than acute cerebral infarction.
