Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of stress hyperglycemia on the prognosis of acute cerebral infarction. Methods 42 cases with acute cerebral infarction who had stress hyperglycemia were selected as observation group, and 40 cases with acute infarction who had normal blood glucose were selected as control group.Neurologic impairment score in two groups were evaluated while admission;the outcome was observed after 4 weeks of onset in two groups;clinical events were recorded after 4 weeks of onset in two groups. Results Neurologic impairment score in observation group compare with that in control group while admission, there was statistical difference(P0.05);the total rate of clinical in observation group comp compared with that in control group, there was statistical difference(P0.05);The incidence of clinical events in observation group compared with that in control group, there was statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusions Stress hyperglycemia can increase the incidence of clinical events in acute cerebral infarction, and effects the outcome.
