Evaluation of the therapeutic effects on tongxinluo capsule in 98 patients with vertebral and basilar arterial blood supply insufficiency.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects on tongxinluo capsule in patients with vertebral and basilar arterial blood supply insufficiency.Methods 188 patients suffering with vertebral and basilar arterial blood supply insufficiency were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.These patients in treatment group were treated with tougxinluo capsule,and those in control group were given with fufang danshen.The therapeutic period were 8 weeks.Their symptoms marks,plasma adhesion and VM between vertebral basilar artery were recorded and checked respectively before treatment and after 8 weeks treatment.Results The effects of decreasing of plasma adhesion and increasing of VM between vertebral basilar artery in treatment group were significant than those in control group.The total efficiency of improving symptom was 94.9% in treatment group and 80% in control group.Conclusion Tongxinluo capsule has better therapeutic effects in patients with vertebral and basilar arterial blood supply insufficiency.
