Clinical observation of Tongxinluo capsule on transient ischemic attack

Objective To observe the clinical effects of Tongxinluo capsule on transient ischemic attack( TIA).Methods 72 TIA patients were randomly divided into two groups.36 patients in control group were treated by troxerutin tablets.36 patients in treatment group were treated by Tongxinluo capsule.The changes of blood lipid parameters,the blood velocity of left vertebral artery,right vertebral artery and basilar artery before and after treatment were compared in two groups.Results The blood lipid parameters,the blood velocity of left vertebral artery,right vertebral artery and basilar artery after treatment were improved in two groups( P 0.05),there was significant difference between two groups( P 0.05),and the improvement in treatment group was superior to that in control group.Conclusion Tongxinluo capsule can regulate blood lipids in TIA patients,improve blood velocity,and lower the risks of secondary cerebral infarction.
