EPIDEMIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF RESIDENT DEATH CAUSE IN NANCHANG CITY OF JIANGXI PROVINCE IN 2005

[Objective] In order to know the disease death composition and distribution of residents in Nanchang,to find seriously harmful diseases,to provide scientific basis in setting down policy and measurement of disease control and prevention.[Methods] The death cause was classified by international standard ICD-10 .The death rate and PYLL were as statistic index.[Results] In Nanchang City,the average death rate of the county was 538.2475 / 100 000 in 2005.The average death rate of man was 559.6823 / 100 000 and the average death rate of woman was 515.2726 / 100 000.The circulation system disease,tumor,respiratory disease,damnification and poisoning disease and infection disease separately took the first 5 places among all death causes.[Conclusion] At present,the main death cause is chronic noninfectious disease.But the infectious disease,damnification and poisoning disease are important parts so they should be paid much more attention.
