Analysis of causes death among residents in Nanchang District of Wuxi City in 2012

Abstract
Objective To analyze the causes of death among inhabitants in Nanchang District of Wuxi city. Methods The causes of death were analyzed based on the data of disease surveillance in Nanchang District in 2012,and the classification of death causes was confined with ICD-10. Results The death rate was 663. 13 per 105,the order of death causes was cancer,circulatory diseases, respiratory disease,injuries and poisoning,endocrine system diseases. The five leading causes of death accounted for 90. 79% of all death causes. Conclusion The chronic diseases and injures are the main causes of death in Nanchang District in 2012.
