Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy.Method: Retrospectly study on 112 patients undergoing CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy,94 of which were diagnosed by pathology.Result: 86 out of 94 patients were proved malignant lung cancer, among which 78 cases were through CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle aspiration. The other 8 of 94 patients were proved benign. The diagnositic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy went up to,respectively,90.7%,100% and 91.5%.The incidence percentage of pneumothroax and hemorrhage were 8.9% and 10.7%.Conclusion: CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy is a safe and accurate method in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of lung mass, which enjoys high clinical value.
