Levels of tumor supplies group of factors (TSGF)in the metastasis of lung cancer

Objective To determine the clinical diagnosis value of tumor supplies group of factors (TSGF)in the metastasis and relapse of lung cancer.Methods TSGF was measured by spectrophotometry in 24 healthy subjects and 75 patients with lung cancer (39 cases of localized tumors and 36 cases of distant metastasis).The positive bordline of serum TSGF was 64U/ml in our hospital.Results The level of serum TSGF in lung cancer group was 77.08±15.73U/ml( ±s ),its positive rate was 88%,the controls was 59.4±15.69U/ml and 8.3%, the TSGF value and its positive rate in distant metastasis cancers was 88.22±15.69U/ml and 97%,the TSGF value and its positive rate in localized cancers was 67.56±7.43U/ml ( P 0.01) and 79%.Conclusion The serum TSGF level is a highly sensitive and specific marker in the diagnosis of lung cancer,especially for distant metastases.
