A Slight Inquiry of Zhang Xue-cheng's Theory of Six Confucian Classics Being History

It's an important argument put forward by Zhang Xue-cheng in the preface of the book Wen Shi Tong Yi Regarding to this topic,there have been wide differences in the academic circle.This article focused on four aspects to give a general introduction of Six Confucian Classics being history,which include its reference,connotation,significance and its class essence.Through specific expounding Six Confucian Classics being history is the central idea of his historical thought.It has emerged to benefit the society with the attitude of revising old values flourished in the later period of feudalistic society and has had far-reaching influence.
