Abstract

Zhang Xue-cheng deviated immensely from the Qian-Jia School dominating the academic circle of his times and showed ascertain inclination to Song-Ming Rationalism which was opposed by the Qian-Jia School.In terms of his academic views,theories and practice,theory of six Confucian classics being history,His academic theory was based on a series of philosophical principle.He expressed his academic ideal through criticizing the scholars and the style of study in his era.His work pioneered in the new domain of academic study.
