Abstract
From development of historiography,Zhang Xuecheng,who is historian of Qing Dynasty,puts forward all of Confucian being history and the Confucian being political laws on ancient times ,which gives birth to far-reaching influence on development of offspring learning.At same time,Zhang Xuecheng also emphasizes the Confucian cannot be imitated and the meaning of Confucian can be copied,which have a vital inspiration on further studies of six Confucian classics and exploring development of ancient historiography in China.
