Effect of Compoud Glycyrrhizin Tablets in Ttreating Patients with Hand Eczema

Objective To observe the effect and safety of compoud glycyrrhizin tablets in treating patients with hand eczema.Methods 60 patients with hand eczema were divided into two groups,the treating group and the control group,randomly.They were treated with compoud glycyrrhizin tablets in the treating group and with betamethason copound injection injected in the point Hegu bilaterally in the control group monthly.Patients in both groups were treated with topical application of urea cream twice daily simultaneously with compoud glycyrrhizin tablets or betamethason copound injection.The results were evaluated four weeks after treatment.Results Patients in the treating group and the control group were significantly improved compared with the condition before treatment(P0.05 and P0.01 respectively).The total effective rates were 90% in the treating group and 70% in the control group.No severe side effect was observed in the study.Conclusion Compoud glycyrrhizin tablet is effective and safe in treating patients with hand eczema,and it is a good choice for these patients.
