Clinical Observation of Mixed Hemorrhoid Treated with Xiaozhiling Injection and Milligan-Morgan Operation

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy on mixed hemorrhoid treated with xiaozhiling injection and Milligan-Morgan operation.Methods 480 cases of mixed hemorrhoid were randomized into two groups,360 cases in a treatment group and 120 cases in a control group.In the treatment group,the combined therapy of xiaozhiling injection and Milligan-Morgan operation was adopted.In the control group,Milligan-Morgan operation was applied.It was to compare and observe the efficacy,common complications such as pain,edema around the wound,bleeding and anal distension and bearing-down feeling,time of hemorrhoids defluvium,healing time as well as the recurrence rate for the patients between two groups.Results The differences were not significant statistically in the total effective rate,the postoperative anal distension and bearing-down feeling and the recurrence rate in the follow-up visit of 3 months,6 months and 1 year between the treatment group and the control group(P0.05).The differences were significant statistically in postoperative pain score,edema around the wound,bleeding,the time of postoperative hemorrhoids defluvium,healing time and the recurrence rate in the follow-up visit of 3 and 5 years between the treatment group and the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The combined therapy of xiaozhiling injection and Milligan-Morgan operation is superior to Milligan-Morgan operation in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoid.
