Clinical study of Xiaozhiling injection combined with Milligan-Morgan operation on circular mixed hemorrhoids

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiaozhiling injection combined with Milligan-Morgan operation on circular mixed hemorrhoid.Methods Two hundred and forty cases of circular mixed hemorrhoid were randomly divided into two groups,a treatment group(n=180) that was treated by Xiaozhiling injection combined with Milligan-Morgan operation,and a control group(n=60) that was treated by single Milligan-Morgan operation.The efficacy and complication including postoperative pain,swelling around the edge of wound,bleeding,anal pendant expansion,retention of urine,remaining wart and anal stricture,as well as the time for dropping hemorrhoid lines and wound healing were observed to compare.Results There was no significant between-group difference in the total effective rate,anal pendant expansion and anal stricture(P0.05);while there was significant between-group difference in the complications of pain score,swelling around the edge of wound,bleeding,retention of urine and remaining wart,as well as the time for dropping hemorrhoid lines and wound healing(P0.05).Conclusion The therapy of Xiaozhiling injection combined with Milligan-Morgan operation is superior to the traditional Milligan-Morgan operation.
