The observation on the clinical effect of low dose spironolactone combined with metoprolol in patients with chronic heart failure

Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of low dose spironolactone combined with metoprolol in patients with chronic heart failure.Methods 84 patients with chronic heart failure in our hospital from June 2009 to October 2010 were selected as research object,and all the patients were randomly divided into control group(routine group)42 cases and observation group(low dose spironolactone combined with metoprolol group)42 cases,then the total effective rate,incidence of adverse reactions,improvement of cardiac function and serum NT-proBNP of the two groups were detected and compared.Results The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group,incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that of control group,cardiac function wwere better than those of control group,serum NT-proBNP were lower than those of control group,P0.05 or P0.01,there were significant or very significant differences.Conclusion The clinical effect of low dose spironolactone combined with metoprolol in patients with chronic heart failure is better,advantage is obvious,and it is worthy of popularization and application.
