Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect for the combination application of small dose of spironolactone metoprolol in the treatment of chronic heart failure. Methods 68 cases of patients with chronic heart failure were randomly divided into two groups, the test group and the control group, and 34 cases in each group. The control group was received basic treatment plus service metoprolol, and the experiment group was taken with spironolactone associated with metoprolol treatment. The change of cardiac function in patients was taken for evaluation with NYHA class standards before enrollment and drug classification change after four courses.Taking chemiluminescence for the detection of NT-proBNP values and patients were taken for echocardiography examination records on left ventricular ejection fraction(hereinafter referred to as the ejection fraction,EF).Results After four courses of treatment, the efficiency and total efficiency of heart function of the test group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P 0.05).Compared with the first two groups before treatment, the ejection fraction was significantly increased, while the NT-proBNP substantial declined. The serum NT-proBNP in the experiment group after four months was significantly lower than the control group, the cardiac ejection fraction was slightly higher than that in control group. Conclusion Spironolactone metoprolol can effectively improve the metoprolol treatment of chronic heart failure.
