Clinical effects of enalapril combined with metoprolol and spironolactone on patients with chronic heart failure

Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of enalapril combined with metoprolol and spironolactone in the treatment of chronic heart failure.Methods One hundred and sixty patients with chronic heart failure were randomly divided into two groups: 80 patients in control group were treated with routine treatment,and 80 patients in treatment group were treated with enalapril combined with metoprolol and spironolactone on the basis of routine treatment,4 months as a course of treatment.And then the clinical effect and safety between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 91.2% and that in control group was 67.5%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P 0.01).There was no side effect in the two groups.Conclusion It is effective and safe of enalapril combined with metoprolol and spironolactone in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure.
