Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy of budesonide and ambroxol hydrochloride inhalation on children with bronchial pneumonia. Methods 60 children with bronchial pneumonia admitted in our hospital from March, 2012 to March, 2013 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 30 patients in each. On the basis of conventional treatment, the control group was given ambroxol inhalation treatment and the experimental group was given budesonide and ambroxol hydrochloride inhalation treatment. Results The experiment group's clinical effective rate was 93.3%, higher than that of the control group's 66.7%, the difference was statistically significant(t=6.9333,P=0.0312). The subsided times of the symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, pulmonary rales and X-ray shadow were significantly shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.01). Conclusion Budesonide and ambroxol hydrochloride inhalation is quite effective in treating children with bronchial pneumonia, which is worthy of clinical application.
