Abstract

Objective To analyze the clinical effect and value of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with budesonide in the treatment of neonatal pneumonia by inhalation. Methods 130 cases of children with neonatal pneumonia treated in our hospital from October 2011 to October 2013 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 65 cases in each group. The control group was given ambroxol treatment, while the observation group was given budesonide inhalation on the basis of the control group. The clinical effects and indexes of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The clinical effective rate of the observation group was 95.38%,significantly higher than 73.85% of the control group, with statistical significant difference(P 0.01); the disappeared time of cough, dyspnea, rales and the hospitalization time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, with statistical significant difference(P 0.01). Conclusions The application of ambroxol hydrochloride and budesonide in treating neonatal pneumonia by inhalation has high clinical value and effect, and effectively improves the effective rate and reduce adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
