Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical prognosis and marrow inhibition by chemotherapy combined with zhenqifuzheng capsules in the treatment of cancer. Methods:76 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. The obvervation group (38 cases) were treated with chemotherapy combined with zhenqifuzheng capsules 4 caps, po, tid, for 4 weeks. The control group(38cases) were treated with chemotherapy only. Observing the prognosis and the counting of white blood cells, hemoglobin and blood platelets from the first to fourth week. Results:The remission rate was higher in the observation group(42.2 %) than that in the control group (36.8 %), but no significant difference increased( P 0.05). There was a higher white blood cell count as compared with the control group, at first week, second week and third to fourth week( P 0.05), whereas there was no significant difference in the counting of hemoglobin and blood platelets( P 0.05). Conclusion:No beneficial effect of zhenqifuzheng capsules was evident in terms of remission. However it markedly inhibited the decrease of white blood cells.
