Abstract
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Qijiao Shengbai capsules on leukopenia caused by malignant tumors after chemotherapy. Methods 80 cases of patients with malignant tumors were selected during January 2009 to December 2011, which were randomly divided into experimental group (n=40) and control group (n=40). All patients were treated by conventional antitumor method. Patients in experimental group were treated by oral Qijiao Shengbai capsules after chemotherapy and patients in control group were treated by oral leucogen after chemotherapy. Patients were checked by repeatedly blood routine examination and compared the white blood cell count and incidence of infection between the two groups. Results The incidence of white blood cell count less than 1.5×109/L of experimental group was significantly lower than those of the control group(P 0.05),the leucocyte decrease of experimental groupwas significantly lower than those of the control group(P 0.05),the time of white blood cells return to normal was significantly shortened(P 0.05). The incidence of infection was significantly lower than that of the control group(P 0.05). ConclusionQijiao Shengbai capsules is effective on leucopenia that after chemotherapy.
