Abstract
Flow field in tundish is very important for liquid steel purification.Some measures to help liquid steel purification such as turbulence inhibitor(TI),gas bubble curtain,centrifugal tundish and gas injection in the ladle shrouding tube are introduced.Configuration optimization on tundish can effectively change the flow field in tundish.The dynamic energy of turbulence can be diminished,and the residence time of liquid steel in tundish can be prolonged.Those help inclusions removable and steel chemical composition and temperature uniformed.
