Study on the relationship between achievement motivation and self-efficacy of college students major in physical education

The article adopts two scales:the Scale of Perceived Social Self-efficacy(PSSE) and Questionnaire Measure of Individual Difference In Achieving Tendency scale(IDIAT),measured on a random sample of 284 physical education students,discussion the relationship on achievement motivation and between self-efficacy.The results found:self-efficacy and achievement motivation were positively related,achievement motivation in the pursuit of success variables associated with self-efficacy exist significant correlation,achievement motivation to avoid failure variables associated with self-efficacy has significant negative correlation;this study investigated the self-efficacy in gender,education and students show no significant differences.
