Study on the Correlation between Vocational High School Students' General Self-efficacy and Their Achievement Motivation

Measuring on 139 vocational school students by the General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES) and the Achievement Motive Scale(AMS),and the outcomes show that the gender differences between vocational high school students' general self-efficacy and their achievement motivation factors are all not significant;general self-efficacy show extremely remarkable difference in the dimension of grade,but the difference in the motivation to avoid failure is not significant;students' general self-efficacy score and pursuing success motivation and synthetic motivation exists significant positive correlation,but has significant negative correlation between motivation of avoiding failare.Pursuing success motive and synthetic motives have significant projection function for students' self-efficacy.
