Abstract
The ecological footprint model is quantitative evaluation model using in assessing regional sustainable development, and it has simple, rapid and integrated features comparing to primary models.By calculating and analyzing the ecological footprints of Wuhan City in 2003,this paper shows that the ecological footprint per capita was 2.929555213 hm2,the ecological capacity per capita was 0.336233856 hm2,and the ecological deficit per capita was 2.593321357 hm2,indicating that Wuhan City is in an unsustainable status.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
