Species of pathogenic bacterial distribution and drug resistance in infected surface of burned wound

Objective:In order to analyze the bacterial distribution on burn infection wound and their drug resistance.Methods:The bacteria in excretions collected from burn wound of patients from Aug 2005 to Nov 2007 were cultivated and identified,and their drug sensitivity were analyzed.Results:From them 155 strains in 198 cases were detected out(78.3%),the species of Gram-negative bacteria were more than Gram-positive bacteria.S.aureus and P.aeruginosa still were the dominant bacteria.No strains resistant to vancomycin were found in staphylococci.Gram-negative bacteria were highly susceptible to carbapenem.Conclusion:The proportion of Gram-positive bacteria on burn wound had raised,and S.aureus had increased while P.aeruginosa had relatively reduced.The drug resistant bacteria were found commonly,and the bacteria were found resistant to several kinds of antibiotics.So in the clinical management the doctors must think highly of it.It is important for reasonable drug application to know the distribution and resistance of commonly encountered bacteria.
