The observation of the mirtazapine treatment in somatoform disorders

Objective To observa the curative effection and safety of mirtazapine treatment in somatoform disorders.Methods 60 patients with somatoform disorders were randomly divided into 2 groups,each of the 30 cases,each application mirtazapine and amitriptyline in the treatment of 6 weeks.Using HAMD,HAMA and TESS scales to compare before medication and after treatment 1,2,4,6weeks to assess the efficacy and adverse reactions.Results Both before and after treatment of the two groups had a very significant difference(P0.01).But the curative effection between the groups had no significant(P0.05).The first weekend the score of mirtrazapine group dropped significantly,and the difference was significant and adverse reaction was less than amitriptyline(P0.05).Conclusion Mirtazpine is an effective and safe drup in treating somatoform disorders.
