Abstract
Objective To observe the treatment of exogenous free radical scavenging enzyme after alkali burn. Methods 40 healthy rabbits were randomly divided into control group, burn group, superoxide dismutase(SOD) cure group, catalase(CAT) cure group, both enzyme cure group.Subconjunctival injection was adopted after alkali burn.72 hour after burn, the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA) were determined. Results The contents of MDA in SOD cure group and both enzyme cure group was lower than burn group. Conclusion SOD?both SOD and CAT can lighter the damage to the eyes for early alkali burn in the anterior segment of the eye.
