Abstract
The synthesis of n amyl benzoate were studied with amyl alcohol and phenylformic acid as reactants, and reaction conditions were selected. It showed that TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 was an excellent catalyst for the synthesis of n amyl benzoate, and the optimun reaction conditions was that the molar ratio of pentyl to acid was 4∶1,the mass ratio of the catalyst used to the reactants was 1.5%,and the reaction time was 2.5 h. Under above conditions, the yield of n amyl benzoate reached 96.7%.
