Abstract
The synthesis of n-amyl butyrate using TiSiW12O40/TiO2 as catalyst has been studied. The optimum conditions are: molar ratio of n-amyl to butyl acid is 1.3:1, the quantity of catalyst is equal to 1.5% feed stock, the reaction temperature is 125-135℃, and the reaction time is 1.0h. TiSiW12O40/TiO2 is an excellent catalyst for synthetizing n-amyl butyrate and its yield can reach over 98.9%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
