Abstract
The synthesis of iso amyl benzoate were studied with iso amyl alcoho and phenylformic acid as reactants, and reaction conditions were selected. It showed that TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 was an excellent catalyst for the synthesis of iso amyl benzoate, and the optimun reaction conditions was that the molar ratio of pentyl to acid was 4∶1,the mass ratio of the catalyst used to the reactants was 2.5%,and the reaction time was 2.5h.Under this conditions, the yield of iso amyl benzoate reached 83.3%.
