Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Ganshulin 30 R combined with metformin in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes(T2DM) of secondary failure to sulfonylureas(SFS).Methods 88 cases of patients with T2 DM of SFS were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 44 cases in each group. The observation group received Ganshulin 30 R combined metformin therapy, the control group received Ganshulin 30 R therapy, efficacy between the two groups were compared. Results The standard time of blood glucose in observation group was significantly shorter than the control group, and the insulin dosage was significantly lower(P 0.05); the serum lipids and C-peptide in the two groups before and after treatment were no significant changes(P 0.05); Glucose and Hb Alc of the two groups were significantly improved(P 0.05), but no significant difference between groups(P 0.05). Conclusion Ganshulin 30 R combined with metformin in the treatment of T2 DM of SFS can shorten the standard time of blood glucose and reduce the amount of insulin, does not affect lipid metabolism, should be widely applied.
