The clinical analysis of thymic peptide in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection:on 55 cases report

Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of thymic peptide in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection.Methods 110 cases children with recurrent respiratory tract infection were randomly divided into observation group and control group,each of 55 cases.Two groups were given symptomatic support and general treatment,observation group were treated with thymic peptide.After treatment,compared the clinical efficacy,intravenous immune globulin content of blood and adverse reaction of two groups.Results The total effective rate of observation group(94.55%) was significantly higher than that of control group(81.82%)(P0.05).After treatment,venous immunoglobulin IgA,IgM,IgG were significantly higher than those before treatment,and were lower than those of control group,the difference were statistically significant(P0.05).No found significant adverse reaction of two groups.Conclusion Thymic peptide in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection is effective,can increase immune function,safe and reliable.
