College English Teaching and the Development of College Students' Socio-cultural Competence

Abstract

Socio-cultural competence is of vital importance to cross-cultural communication.To cultivate students' socio-cultural competence,in college English teaching,we should combine the teaching of language with the teaching of culture,make them learn cultural knowledge from language and comprehend language knowledge from cultural environment.
