Comprehensive Competitiveness Evaluation on Prefecture-level Cities in Yunnan Province

According to the international and domestic theory and evaluation system,this paper constructs two level and 37 indicator systems;uses the principal components analytic method to analyze 8 prefecture-level cities'comprehensive competitiveness in Yunnan province,and some conclusions are summarized:comprehensive competitiveness of 8 prefecture-level cities is still relatively backward,polarization is serious,and the cities owning abundant economic strength and good industrial base rank the top,the cities basing on the mining,agriculture,and tourism rank the low;some policy suggestions are got out.
