Overall Evaluation and Research on Urban Competitiveness of Provincial Area

Abstract

This paper constructed the comprehensive index system and metrological model of urban competitiveness,then adopted factor analysis to measure the urban competitiveness of 22 Prefecture-level cities in Xinjiang Province.And the 22 cities can be divided into four levels according to the measurement.Also the text analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the cities in each level synthetically,and put forward related countermeasures and proposals on how to improve the urban competitiveness of the 22 cities.
