Abstract

The competition between cities is the product of the market economy,and hence comprehensive competitiveness of cities has been attached great importance to the various cities.From the macroeconomic competitiveness,and industrial competitiveness,Community level competitiveness,Science-education competitiveness of four selected areas of 37 secondary indicators to construct evaluation index system,this paper uses method of principal component analysis to evaluate comprehensive competitiveness of 14 county-level cities in Fujian Province as well as hierarchical cluster analysis,in order to provide scientific basis for optimized competitiveness of County-level cities in Fujian province.
