Abstract
Objective:To improve the understanding of mammographic characteristics of breast cystosarcoma phyllodes.Methods:The mommograms of 13 cases with pathologically proved breast cystosarcoma phyllodes were reviewed. Results:The mammographic features of 13 cases included:small tumours with smooth and sharp border in 4 cases,mean size 3.75cm×2.9cm;large tumours with phyllode border in 4 cases,mean size 8.25cm×7.12cm;Small tumours with rough border in 2 cases,mean size 2.25×2.25cm;tumour not found but with homogeneous density in 1 case;architectural distortion in 2 cases.Conclusion:Large tumours with phyllode shape,homogeneous density,smooth and sharp border in breast are important basis in diagnosing the cystosarcoma phyllodes of the breast.
