Ultrasonography characteristics of cystosarcoma phyllodes of the breast

Objective: To explore ultrasonography characteristics cystosarcoma phyllodes of the breast.Methods: Six cases confirmed by surgery and pathology for breast cystosarcoma phyllodes were tested with two-dimensional ultrasounography.The mass location,shape,internal and marginal echo and distribution of blood flow were observed.Results: The 2-D sonography performances of breast cystosarcoma phyllodes larger round or phyllodes tumor with clear border,with or without capsule,as it is of low internal echo,uneven,solution of irregular dark,rare calcification,the rear echo enhanced.Doppler signal detection rate was 100 percent,resistance index(RI) changes in the scope larger.Conclusion: Breast ultrasounography for cystosarcoma phyllodes sarcoma has difficulty in diffrentiation of benign and malignant lesions,but it is certainly more typical image features.With color doppler it is helpfnl to detect the disease early and other types of breast cancer diagnosis.
