Diagnosis and differential diagnosis of phyllodes cystosarcoma of breast with colour Doppler ultrasonography

Objective:To evaluate the value of ultrasonography in diagnosis of phyllodes cystosarcoma of breast.Methods:The signs of colour Doppler ultrasonography and pathological Features of 16 cases with pathologically-proved phyllode cystosarcoma of breast were reviewed,and differential diagnosis between phyllodes cystosarcoma of breast and breast cancer,breast intracanalicular fibroma.Results:Mostly the phyllodes cystosarcoma was shown as inhomogeneus,lower middle echo,phylloid and big mass,cleaning-edge,cystic letions,rich flow signals and scarcely calcification on colour Doppler ultrasonography.Conclusion:Ultrasonography is a valuable method for diagnosing phyllodes cystosarcoma of breast.
