Abstract
The extraction technology for total flavonoids were optimized with the content of total flavonoids as test index by orthogonal design. A novel method for determining total flavonoids was developed. The results showed that the factors affecting the total flavonoids extraction were in the order of methanol concentration, solvent amounts, ultrasonic time and soak time. The best extraction technology was as follows: 20 mL 100% methanol, soak time 30 min, ultrasonic time 30 min. The method of determing total flavonoids content was proved to be feasible, effective and simple.
